Academics - Examination System

Examinations.

In each academic year, the school will hold the following tests carrying weightage as under:-

 

  • Unit Tests 2 - 20%
  • Half yearly Test 1 - 20%
  • Annual Test 1 - 50%
  • Internal Assessment - 10% (Comprising class and Homework, Projects and  Assignments)

 

Minimum Attendance Necessary for annual Examination. A pupil may not be allowed to sit in the annual examination if he/she has not put in a minimum of 75% of the total attendance of the academic session, including attendance in previous school if the student has been admitted on transfer.

The result of the annual examination shall be declared by the Principal in the first week of April.

Grading System. Given below is the grading system that would be applicable:-

(a)  Grade 'A' 85% and above Excellent
(b) Grade 'B' 70% to 84% Very Good
(c) Grade 'C' 60% to 69% Good
(d) Grade 'D' 50% to 59% Average
(e) Grade 'E' 35% to 49% Fair
(e) Grade 'F' Below 35% Poor
